This project updated an ordinary bow window which had failed into a sleek day-bed depth window seat which echoed the modern aesthetic of this contemporary Cape.
This gorgeous house, added onto and adapted since the 1600’s, is the site of a renovation which connects inside and outside in a way that makes the most of the views and landscape, while creating cozy and sunny space to create and entertain.
The 70’s kitchen in this house was refashioned as a cook’s kitchen, with a baking island and space for casual dining. A china cabinet and plate racks, as well as shelves which span a window are among the custom details.
